Eating Out

One of the joys of eating out in this region is the sociability of the Andalucians. Family and friends, often with children in tow, start early with tapas, and continue until well after midnight. It is common to go into a restaurant to eat at 9.30 or 10pm. Lots of the best restaurants serve food based on local produce and home cooking, and the value for money can be excellent.

          

The centre of Estepona offers a wide selection of bars and restaurants, many of which are Spanish. The marina also has lots to choose from, and the selection is very international, whatever you like, there is such a wide selection, you will always find something to suit.

Closest to the apartment is the Pink restaurant, where you turn off the Coastal Road from Malaga to La Resina. This is Venta El Caserio. It is a family run restaurant, the food is Spanish, excellent and very reasonable.

Also close at hand is El Cazador, which is on the road down to the main road. Like Venta El Caserio, it is a local restaurant and definitely recommended.

In addition to the two restaurants, there is a local bar which is Spanish, and very friendly with a number of " international" locals.
